Tottenham have confirmed they have agreed a deal to sign Twente winger Nacer Chadli, subject to a medical and personal terms being agreed.
The 23-year-old flew into London on Sunday to finalise the details of the move, which will see him join fellow Belgians Mousa Dembele and Jan Vertonghen at White Hart Lane.
Chadli, who can play on either flank, will become Spurs’ second signing of the summer, following the £17 million capture of Brazil international Paulinho from Corinthians.
He will now join up with the rest of Andre Villas-Boas’ squad for the club’s pre-season training camp in Hong Kong.
The Belgium international has enjoyed three successful years at Twente, winning the Eredivisie title and attracting the attentions of Swansea and Aston Villa this summer.
Chadli also scored home and away against Tottenham for Twente in the Champions League group stage in the 2010-11 season.
